shaun, also known as kenochoric/transhaunting/extranth, was a coiner within the mogai tumblr sphere. recently, sometime in january 2023, it appears his accounts have been terminated. this is my attempt at an archival.
i try and group similar terms together but it may not be perfect. i do apologize.
Neagender: A gender that feels like the void, while also having a gendered component(s) inherently tied/mixed into it in some sense.
Kenochoric: A broad umbrella term centered around the idea of kenopsia. It is defined more by feeling and experience rather than a strict set of concepts, it is an inherently vague label. There is no one thing that makes something kenochoric, it just is. However, generally, kenochoric is centered around, among other things, the unknown, eerieness, the uncanny valley, obscurity, nostalgia, emptiness or vastness, liminal spaces, nonhumanity, and things that can evoke any or all of those things. It can be both an identity and a modifier.
KEIN: Kenochoric-In-Nature
Kenic: general alignment with kenosity.
Kenous/Kenoine: describes a kenous quality. ie: a masculine person, a kenous person.
Kenosity: the quality of being kenochoric, ie: masculinity is the quality of being masculine, kenosity is the quality of being kenic
Hex: term of a kenous person, often younger (ie: boy, hex)
Omen/Kenore/Chori: term for a person who is kenochoric (ie: man, omen)
Transkenous/Transkenoine/Transkeno: transitioning towards kenosity or somebody who is transgender and kenochoric.
Kenopunk: a term for kenochoric individuals who believe in (and fight for) their autonomy, recognition, and support in the wider queer community. It is primarily defined by feelings of autonomy, miscategorization, pride, inclusivity, obscurity, and further on.
